Victron Smart BMS CL Multiplus Cable Victron Smart BMS CL Multiplus Cable Applications For installations where a Smart BMS CL 12-100 works in conjunction with a smaller MultiPlus or MultiPlus Compact. This cable establishes the connection so that the BMS switches off the inverter-charger before the battery runs into trouble. What the cable does The cable bundles the load and charge shutdown signals from the BMS to the on/off connector located remotely from the MultiPlus. As soon as either output fails, the inverter-charger stops charging and discharging. Suitable inverter-chargers * MultiPlus from 500 VA to 1600 VA * MultiPlus Compact from 800 VA to 2 kVA Caution during restart Both BMS outputs must be high before the MultiPlus switches back on. If the battery has run down, restart the system by starting the alternator or connecting a battery charger to the primary side of the BMS.
