Victron SolidSwitch 104 Switches a DC load directly from a digital output, without a mechanical relay in between. Useful for controlling a fan, lighting, a solenoid valve, or a relay coil from a GX device at voltages up to 70 Vdc. Low-power signal control. The control input switches on from 3.3 V and draws only 30 µA. This means a digital output from a GX device or another controller is sufficient; an additional control relay or driver is not required. Ohmic, capacitive, and inductive loads * Capacitive: 1000 µF up to 15 V, 400 µF at 15 to 30 V, and 50 µF at 30 to 70 V * Inductive: 1000 mH up to 1 A, 100 mH at 1 to 2 A, and 10 mH above 2 A * Maximum load current 4 A over the entire voltage range Semiconductor instead of contacts There are no moving parts, therefore no contact wear and no audible switching. This makes the module suitable for applications involving frequent switching or those installed in a living or sleeping area. Points to consider during installation The module is not protected against reverse polarity or short circuits. Therefore, include a suitable fuse in the load circuit and check the polarity before switching on. Protection degree IP20, therefore exclusively for mounting in a dry, shielded area.
