Victron VE.Direct to USB interface With this interface, you connect any Victron device with a VE.Direct port directly to a laptop or PC. Examples include SmartSolar and BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers, BMV battery monitors, the SmartShunt, and Phoenix inverters. Via VictronConnect, you can read out all data, change settings, and update the firmware — even on devices without built-in Bluetooth. What can you do with it? * Reading and setting: adjust charging algorithm, battery type, voltages, and current limits of MPPT charge controllers and battery monitors * Firmware updates: easily bring your devices to the latest version * Non-Bluetooth devices: even non-Smart versions can be fully configured * History and diagnostics: read stored data for service and fault analysis * Galvanic isolation: the USB side is isolated from the VE.Direct network, protecting the PC and the system * Power via the port: no separate adapter required Connection Insert the VE.Direct connector into the corresponding port on the device and the USB connector into your laptop or PC. The device is automatically recognized in VictronConnect (Windows, macOS, and with an OTG adapter, also Android).
