Toepassingen Voor sloepen, jachten en werkschepen tot 24 meter waar 230 V walstroom veilig aan boord moet komen, en voor campers en mobiele units. Het lichte polyamide huis vraagt geen corrosiebescherming en het deksel sluit de doorvoer af zonder aangesloten kabel. Lichtgewicht polyamide PA6 Het glasvezelversterkte polyamide is slagvast, corrosiebestendig en bestand tegen UV en zoute lucht. Het gewichtsverschil met een RVS-uitvoering telt mee op dunwandige of kunststof rompen en bij montage in een opbouw of paneel. Het scharnierende deksel beschermt de contactpennen zolang er geen kabel is aangesloten. Waterdichte bajonetsluiting De walstroomkabel wordt met een kwartslag vergrendeld. Die bajonetsluiting voorkomt dat de verbinding losloopt door beweging of trekbelasting en sluit het contactvlak af. De invoer werkt uitsluitend met walstroomkabels en stekkers met MP16-bajonet en is niet uitwisselbaar met standaard CEE-connectoren.
