Today we went to Metstrade at RAI Amsterdam. What a fantastic show, incredibly large, and it's wonderful to see how our market is developing at its peak.
Our first stop was Temo , a young French startup that develops and builds two electric motors entirely in-house. We had an extensive discussion, and the conclusion was that we would become a dealer for our region, shipping directly from the manufacturer. More on this soon via blog posts and the webshop.
The entirely new line of inboard motors, batteries, and controls exceeded our expectations! Compact, stylish, easy to connect, and all with the integral ePropulsion we love. We have high expectations. Available from us starting in the 2023 season.

The reunion at Propel was as warm as ever. What a great team this is! As a supplier from the very beginning and authors of our previous anthology, it's clear that we truly support this brand. The surprise this time was a beautiful new modular and expandable battery pack. Individual 10kg 48V units of 1.7kWh, connectable via busbar and CAN bus communication with cell monitoring and balancing. A fantastic system that can be expanded as desired, even after installation. The price of these battery packs is very competitive and available from us in combination with a Propel D1 or S1 motor.
Nils had found this futuristic-looking product online, and after some initial contact, we finally met for the first time at Metstrade. We had a wonderful conversation with founder Nick Ruinard. This is the most beautiful product we've seen so far in our market for electric propulsion systems for recreational boating. The technology originated in submarines, and every detail of the product exudes absolute top quality and innovation. We've agreed with Nick to add this product line to our portfolio, and we'll soon be traveling to the production site to discuss establishing a dealership.
Metstrade RAI Amsterdam is the most comprehensive watersports show imaginable, with a B2B focus spanning everything from individual accessories to superyachts. Even if we had three weeks, we still wouldn't have been able to see everything. Next year we'll dedicate more time, and who knows, we might even have a stand ourselves. For now, we've made some very useful new contacts and made appointments to fill 2023.
